Manama Verticals is an apartment building located in the Uttara residential area at Dhaka. It contains 2 units each in every floor which results in a 18 unit apartment building. The basic layout is done in such a way that one unit gets the road front with indirect south while the other unit gets the direct south. Thus both units are benefited environmentally. The massing is kept very simple with three major verticals (two mass and a plane) creating the major face of the building.
Another special feature of this project is the Lift and stair lobbies. It opens itself towards the roadside vista creating a nice view for the users. Also there are three flying gardens at 1st, 4th and 7th floor level adjacent to these lobbies. Large trees are to be erected from these flying gardens which will give these lobbies another dimensions. The roof also comprises of gardens and cozy sitting zones.
