ABOUT
In QUEST design studio is an architectural firm established in 2017 by Selim Altaf Biplob, Tamanna Sayeed and Khalid Bin Kabir. It is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The name of the firm is synonymous with the basic driving force behind architectural practices, which is, never-ending search, relentless quest for something more, something better. Architecture is not only about shelter but satisfying imagination and ego as well. For every living species, shelter is essential where they can generate complex structure for themselves. Some animals and insects are so intelligent that their colony can be compared to the modern day cityscape. But only human race wishes to build something not only to protect themselves from adverse environment but sometimes to glorify his ego, agony or joy. That’s how architecture evolved as a relentless search for something more, to achieve something immeasurable. Throughout the history, architects are in quest of appropriate answer for each and every type of structure and the search goes on. And this QUEST is fundamental to all architecture practitioners.
